The opening of the new premises of Ström & Gulliksson and Gulliksson Advocates in Stockholm attracted more than 120 participants. Among the guests were representatives of the industry as well as of colleges and universities in the region. In addition to food and drinks were entertainment such as performing magicians and music. 

– Over the past year our businesses have expanded significantly, particularly in Stockholm where we relatively recently have been established, says Staffan Zilling, Vice President and Partner of Ström & Gulliksson. 

– The relocation was necessary since we were about to outgrow our old premises. In addition, we can predict a continued expansion in the Stockholm region, which is Sweden's Financial Center with large companies in most industries and also many interesting companies within the field of research and development, says Mikael Karlsson, Attorney-at-Law and Partner of Gulliksson Advocates.

How is it that you are expanding, despite the financial crisis and recession? 

– Historically, the intellectual property branch of law has done well in recessions. The need to protect intellectual property rights is increasing in these times too, as several of our colleagues in the industry are evidence of and which is also reflected in the development of the large business law firms. 

– In the light of this, we expect to double the turnover as well as the number of employees here in Stockholm within the next few years.
