Description of Ström & Gulliksson
To meet an increasing demand of our growing business, especially with respect to qualified EP patent matters, Chinese patent matters and post-grant activities such as litigation proceedings, Ström & Gulliksson in Stockholm is now looking for a talented European Patent Attorney.
In brief, Ström & Gulliksson is passionate about Intellectual Property (IP). We are committed to defending our clients' interests. As far as we are concerned, each project is unique, with different conditions and requirements and we aim at being one of the best patent law firms at resolving our customers' specific needs with respect to IP. Our approach is thorough, yet prompt and we aim to keep things as simple as possible. For that reason, it is no coincidence that we are now looking for a talented European Patent Attorney who has an entrepreneurial mindset.
The Role
Based in Stockholm, you will be responsible for the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications, as well as giving advice on various IP matters to clients. You will also be involved in opposition proceedings together with other patent attorneys. Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to work in teams with skilled advocates through our affiliation with the law firm, Gulliksson Advocates, in various IP-legal matters such as litigation and validity proceedings. Yet further, you will have an important role when building up in our recently launched China Practice Focus Group, where we help Chinese companies with IP in Europe and vice versa.
Since our Stockholm office is committed to grow our business, you will also become part of a team that enjoys being part of the journey of creating a new business. Today, the Stockholm office is a relatively small office in terms of people but we are committed to grow our local business and thus the number of people. For the right candidate, this is an excellent opportunity and timing to join a rewarding journey.
Candidate Requirements
You must be a fully-qualified European Patent Attorney and have at least 5 years of experience from private practice and/or an in-house IP-department.
