Moving forward together
Language is one of the most important tools needed to conduct a legally secure business in the patent industry. To successfully defend intellectual property rights in a competitive world, the ability to have a broad perspective and analyse problems from different points of view is also required. As a person, I have always been interested in connecting with people from different countries and cultures. Cross-border meetings inspire me to become a more understanding person and to broaden my perspective.
I have an interdisciplinary technical background in nanoscience and have thus been trained in the ability of familiarising myself with several different technical fields. My main areas of interest are:
- Inventions related to the interaction between medicine and technology, for example in the form of chips developed for treatment of various diseases, functional prostheses for people with nerve damage, and immune technology inventions.
- The development of materials and manufacturing processes within the industry, with the aim of contributing to a sustainable world for future generations.
As a patent consultant, it is important to be meticulous in your work. This applies at all stages, from initial drafting of a patent application to investigation of possible patent infringements. My ability to pay attention to detail means that I place heavy demands on quality and guarantee an end product that you as a client can feel comfortable with.
Working with innovations is a great privilege. The constant development in both law and technology means that there is always something new to learn. Meanwhile, you have to relate to unforeseen events that happen around the world. In the end, I feel very grateful for having the opportunity to manage an original idea that ultimately benefits both the innovator and society as a whole. Together, we can make a difference.
