Client tailored advice
It is important for me that the advice that I provide are tailored for the client at hand. Each case is different and every client has different requests and strategies. It is hence central for me in the role as a patent attorney to establish clear and frequent communication with my clients, in order to ensure that the service I provide becomes the best for each client. I always strive to deliver high quality work and good value to my clients.
Technology oriented with business in mind
Before I began working as a patent attorney, I worked as a technology consultant mainly within the nuclear industry. As a patent attorney, I have experience from cooperation with both large international companies, as well as with smaller locally oriented companies – and I have consequently attained a good understanding of the provisions that this might entail for the respective patent strategy.
In the role as patent attorney, I have executed a large number of different types of search/analysis assignments, such as novelty searches, infringement analyses, and FTO-analyses. I have built up several years’ worth of experience from drafting patent applications, and from prosecuting applications into granted patents in Sweden, against the European Patent Office, and in many other countries through our agents around the world.
My work is mainly aimed towards the mechanical field and towards the borderline between mechanics and electronics. Additionally, I have experience from working with and from drafting patent applications for mobile devices, wearables, computer-implemented inventions and for graphical user interfaces. I have also attained experience from working with medtech-related inventions, which I appreciate since it allows me to use my knowledge from medical school.
